[SeeART TV] Artist at work: Jennifer Bannert

Markus Rack November 6, 2021

How do artists spend time in their studios? What they do in their studio, which is a workspace and also a private space. The studio space is a space where new art is born through the creative thinking of the artist. At the same time, it is a space where they work and spend their daily time, just as we all do at work.

In the Artist at Work series, we capture the space as a studio and their daily movements. Hyein Park, who is a content creator for SeeArt TV and independent curator, will connect us with each artist by telling their story.

The artist featured in this series is Jennifer Bannert. In her works, she captures the universe with a micro and a macro perspective. A narrative from the multiple layers on her paintings expands the perspective to see ourselves as individuals in a whole universe; her works are an invitation for us to the universe and space where we were born and where we are going.

"In infinite space, we endlessly die and a new star is born. In this infinite cycle, we exist endlessly. We are a part of space, and we exist as space itself, where the birth and death of stars that have lasted hundreds of millions of years linger."

From the narrative text for 'Artist at work: Jennifer Bannert' by Hyein Park

[SeeART TV] Artist at work: Michael Reiter

Markus Rack May 14, 2021

How do artists spend time in their studios? What they do in their studio which is a workspace and also a private space. The studio space is a space where new art is born through the creative thinking of the artist. At the same time, it is a space where they work and spend their daily time, just as we all do at work.

In the new series “Artist at Work”, we capture space as a studio and their daily movements, and Hyein Park, who is a content creator for SeeArt TV and an independent curator, will connect us with each artist by telling her story.

The first artist featured in this series is Michael Reiter (b.1952 in Munich), a Frankfurt-based artist. With his craft skills that allow him to use various tools, he experiments with constructive clarity of organized structure that creates endless new spaces and possibilities.

“Awakening. Without being tied to a single point of view, we get an insight into ourselves and our world. In endless changes, we create new categories with a firm and unshakable attitude.”
